Paddons Paddock Chardonnay 'Daddy longlegs' 2021

We started planting our white wines, (Pinot Gris, Jessica Sauvignon Gris and Quails’ Run Chardonnay), on our Wānaka vineyard in 2014 – a year after our Pinot Noir grapes got started, because we wanted them to be ready at the same time. While Jackie was tending the Chardonnay vines. For the first seven years of their lives, quails and their chicks used to run around and live amongst the vines – hence the name. After hatching, quail chicks are very active and are able to fly at three weeks.
